Good and bad are highly subjective terms, usually referring to someone or something that either is or is not in alignment with our personal goals and beliefs.

We're all naturally good. I don't think anyone is born hating or innately bad.
It's learned experiences and our learned reactions and perspectives and perceptions of reality that shape all the good vs bad stuff as we grow up and go through our formative years.
I think a good person is somone who tries to be the best they know how to be. A perceptively bad person is someone who lacks compassion and love so doesn't care about doing the right thing.
Maybe they're bad because that's what they learned though.
If you don't know any better can anyone blame you?

Good should be someone who stands for truth many do evil things in the name of God so there is no answer to your question as everyone has different ideas and morals. I know i am good I am loving caring and stand up against wrong. I once got involved in a gang war because A drug dealer threw my pregnant friend down some stairs i think i was being good by almost putting scum like that in hospital some may think I was wrong.

I think a good person is someone who cares about others, including animals. A person who is not lazy, a person who takes care of their family. Yes, some people are naturally good because they are raised this way and they were treated "good" also you learn as you grow-up how to be an even better person on a daily basis. Hope this helps.

My opinion on what constitutes a good person is:
honor, honesty, empathy, kindness, the ability to grow spiritually/mentally and the ability to forgive. It's a very subjective question as everyone has a different opinion of what "good" is and what are "good" characteristics. Great question, though!

A child is usually considered good if they are well behaved and do what their parents or teachers want them to do. A good adult is someone who is perceived as selfless and sacrificing.
Anyone denying acting out natural instincts to be seen by others as pure and virtuous is what I see as being "good".
So, we are all good at times and we are also all bad at times. Some people may be more naturally good ie trying to be pure and virtuous but it doesn't mean that we can't all be good when we want to be.

Goodness is relative to the values of the observor making a value judgment as to the goodness of any individual. The observor's values will be the result of his social conditioning/inherited moral sense. The determination of value and worth vary widely according to culture and situation. In war, for instance, it is permissable to murder. The boundaries of consent that determine rape also vary culturally.
Someone who lives with integrity will be good by their own standards regardless as to the opinion of others.

A good person, as I call a person good, is someone who is careful about not hurting people by words and deeds. One who takes care of himself as well as his dependents. Is able to defend poor and weak. Is truthful, honest, hardworking and soft spoken too.
Please don't think I am talking through my hat. I have actually met such a person and have great respect for him.
