had intercourse on saturday the 14th around 3 a.m.-should have ovulated between 17th and the 21st. Checking to see possibility I could get pregnant.

Yeah its possible, sperm can live up to a week. It sits in a little pocket called the seminal pool just at the entrance to your cervix. They swim up, a few at a time, over a few days. It does depend on the quality of your partners sperm though. Good luck x

Hey, the little swimmers can last between 5-7 days inside you but they do start to die off as soon as they are inside you. Do you know what day you actually ovulate on or are your periods a little irregular?

under the best of conditions (if the women is ovulating) 72 hours is pretty much the longest they can survive. although...if they are super strong sperm i read in my book that it could be up to 4 days.

it can live up to 5 days. but to have better chance of conceiving have sex more often
