Instead, Democrats have:

Mocked Bush's victory speech.

Second guessed Tommy Frank's tactics.

Amplified the Abu Grahaib situation to the point it to which it became the post child for insurgent and Al Qeadia propaganda.

Continually second guessed our commanders in the field.

Refused to call Iraq what it is, part of the war on terrorism.

Given antiwar lunatics like Cindy Sheehan a platform to speak from while apparently not listening to other Gold Star parents who support the war effort.

Focused only on the negatives rather than the positive.

Flying to terrorist states and undermined the United State's foriegn policy.

Denied our troops a clean funding bill for the Iraq and afghanistan fronts.

Declaring the war "lost" and thereby giving terrorist and Al Qeadia a win in what they (terroris) believe is the central front in the war on terrorism.

And, pray tell, what have the Republicans done to win the war in Iraq and Afghanistan?

The current administration sees a war and wants to win it.

A growing majority of the people (Democrats and Republicans alike) in the US and people throughout the world view it as a lack of peace and want to obtain it.

There's a difference.

Why must the goal be victory? Should not the goal be peace?

Democrats aren't fighting a war, the United States is fighting a war.

Our armed forces are the ones contributing most signficantly to the war efforts. Our armed forces are republican, democrats, independents and--most of all--committed patriots.

It is a pretty spring day, and I'm not going to spoil it by bickering over divisive questions that are not legitimate inquiry.

the war is lost in my opinion--why do republicans state that abortion is wrong because it is killing a human but war is good ???we are killing thousands of our own soldiers!! The blood of those soldiers plus the innocent Iraqi people will remain on President Bushs hands forever and on the conciousness of you until the day you die!!
It is obvious to anyone that the war is NOT helping anyone!

Win????
We should not have gotten into Iraq to begin with, and I don't think its winnable anyway.
So to answer your question, we could have put all our resources into the war in Afganistan if we didn't invade Iraq, and then we could have won that one and been 1-0 instead of 0-2 under Bush.

LOL, please, what are we doing over there besides making them rich and us poor.

i am not saying the war was wrong, we were attacked, we were threatened. i believe the war was well with in rights.

However, its time to pull out and drive on. If they attack again, we should level the places and not do a thing to help rebuild.

In my opinion.

Democrats? LMAO!!!

They have shown their true colors....

WHITE: As in the White flag of surrender (AKA France's favorite).

PINK: As in their willingness to have a don't ask/don't tell policy with ANY terrorist organization, anywhere.

YELLOW: As in their intestinal fortitude when it comes to fighting for what is right, or doing what needs to be done.

It truly makes me puke a little in my mouth every time these mouth-breathers start spewing again.

T.S.

Democrats have taken great strides in learning about the culture that produces terrorists. They have interviewed terrorist families, and they have felt the pain of losing a loved one who straps rat-poisoned tips nails in his bomb vest and detonates himself in weddings and pizza parlors. They have chanted over and over that islam is a religion of peace. They have criticized soldiers for protecting themselves from armed people trying to kill them, because the armed people did not have signs on that said "terrorist." They have consciously ignored atrocities and torture by state-sponsored terrorist groups, because that might offend people who support atrocities and torture by state-sponsored terrorist groups. They have looked deep inside themselves, and they realize that they are to blame for the mass murder committed by the terrorists. Well, not them personally - all of us. And Dems know this.

Republicans, on the other hand, have killed terrorists and tried to disrupt the flow of cash to terrorist groups. How insensitive!
