Im consiering on going there. I know the basic insights and all but i just want people's opinions? right now im choosing between sju and my state school (which is more prestigous btw UCONN) but i just wanna know the facts. p.s. im looking for the overall content of the school not jusst the academics
Also, does anyone know any information about any accelerated learning programs/other honors programs at Sat. Johns? I know they do have an honors program, but unfortunately it is only available to incoming freeshmen, which means that stduents currently enrolled and have a high GPA miss out...

SJU is a great school... A lot of diversity and many honors program... Go to Stjohns.edu.... Look at all the programs they offer!!!

I'm sure that St John's has some decent programs -- but UConn is a much better school. Go there.
St John's is not particularly selective -- with average SAT scores only being around 1000 (out of 1600). It is also the single ugliest campus I have ever seen in my life.
I can't think of many schools where I would recommend going to St John's instead of that school (maybe Seton Hall -- but that is about it).
