I was prompted for a password and then nothing would work so what in the heck happened..........I did all of the troubleshooting crap nothing worked.......

Well, I guess YA still works. Here you are. Do you mean you put a password in three times, then it locked you out? Turn off your computer for 10-20 minutes, then turn back on and try again. You don't say where you are putting this password in.
At start up? At Yahoo.com? But like I say, you are asking a question, so something works.
