a friend that is a guy has invited me to his ballroom dance class that he is taking....its a special class that is open and they can each invite one person....should i be concered that he asked me...we aren't that close....or am i making to much out of it....

What is it your concerned about? You can drive yourself to class. You might even enjoy learning ballroom dancing.
If you're worried he has designs beyond dance class and you don't want to go there.........then just say no thanks.

If you are single, then I wouldn't worry about it. If you are married or engaged, then you need not even consider.
