I have a sign on the bench at the entrance to the back door that reads, "Two Spoiled Rotten Dogs Live Here." Yes, they adore me and rest on a leopard print rolled armed camel back sofa (doggie size) and matching chaise lounge. They are in any room I happen to be in at any given time. Just watching them rest sooths the senses.
I make them gourmet dog food and they love it. They sleep on each side of me always and bark at anything or anyone who comes near the door and are so protective of me. Or perhaps its for them...as they know how well off they really are. Pets are truly God's gift to us...and what a sense of humor He has!

Yes, I often wonder about that. I think my dog Panda knows I love her. When my husband walks toward her to put her in her kennel for the night or put her outside to go potty when it is raining outside, she runs to me and hides behind me. When I am eating , Panda sits at my feet with an expression on her face that says...Look at me! I'm cute! Give me a bite. When I leave the house for a couple hours and come home, who but Panda is so excited she is trembling with happiness to see ME! Panda adores me almost as much as I do her.

I haven't had any pets for a while. My cats used to run to the door whenever they heard my car turn down the street. They were definitely spoiled and so was my dog.

Mine loves me. I would say that she is spoiled considering that everytime we take her to eat fast food, she gets a hamburger (plain of course). But she is a good dog. Very well trained and I love her too.

My pet dachshund, Taffy, has been in therapy for over a year now. She is struggling to find her inner puppy. She thinks(according to the pet psychologist who speaks fluent Dachshund, a variation of low German) Taffy feels we condescend to her, and that we don't speak to her on her level. I have tried talking to her on her own level, but lying on my stomach for long periods hurts my back. No matter what I say she gets mad and just barks at me.

Our dog, Bud, KNOWS and greatly appreciates the fact that we spoil him rotten. He shows his appreciation by not pooping or peeing in the house and by sleeping with us most often with his butt to our faces. We love him anyway.
