Oh my gosh, enough already! These answers are the exact reason people run from Network Marketers!
To answer your question, Network Marketing is a wonderful business, but you do have to do your homework.
My first tip is to do your research on any company you might be interested in joining. Use the internet to your advantage to do this. Just type the company name into google and see what shows up. Another smart research technique is to put the word [scam], use the brackets, after the company name and see what you find. Some of the stuff will amaze you and end up saving you lots of time and money.
I also advise to google those who run the company if they've left a trail of bad businesses and companies behind them chances are they are doing the same now so watch out!
Read the policy and procedure of any company you are interested in joining. That is your contract with the company so make sure you know what your responsibilities are in order to receive your bonus checks.
Look at the products. Are they expensive? If they cost too much, are you that good of a salesperson that you could sell them to those you know for that price?
Understand the compensation plan. Too often people join companies and have no idea how they will get paid, you wouldn't take a job that way, don't do it in network marketing either!
Those are just some basic things to know before getting involved in any network marketing business. If you educate yourself before getting involved with a company, you have a much greater chance of success.
Good Luck!

A business powered by Quixtar could be what you're looking for – a business with the same on-trend, in-demand products you see on this site.
As an Independent Business Owner like me, you've got a strong team that totally has your back. You're supported 100 percent by Quixtar, the business opportunity company with a rock-solid reputation for quality and service.
Since Quixtar launched in 1999, IBOs like me have taken home more than $1.7 billion in bonuses and incentives by racking up more than $5 billion in sales. In fact, we've made Quixtar the number one online health and beauty retailer, according to Internet Retailer.
At the center of it all is the high quality, high-performance brands you see on my site. Brands for the way people live and stuff everybody needs and uses all the time. And everything is guaranteed to satisfy or you get your money back.
So how do you make it work for you? Maybe you just want a small business with a few friends and family members and customers. Or maybe you want to build something big and super-profitable. No matter what your goal, this business works the same way: the more people you register who buy and sell products with you, the more you grow and the more you make.

I think that you are going to find success if you are doing something you love; therefore, I would start by finding out what it is you want and love to do. From there you can then search ideas to build from that and add the resources to succeed. However, I think that the most important part is making sure that you enjoy what you are doing. Finding an idea that works is pointless if you don't enjoy it, because you will not be successful at it.

First, what kind of business do you want to start? That makes a big difference. My husband and I are starting a model rocket company. The first thing we did was get a distributor. We met with someone who sells online, and we will let him have exclusive rights to sell them. Also, my husband is giving out lots of free samples to groups involved in model rocketry, like parachutes and nose cones. They're not very expensive and better than business cards for getting our name out.
Also, get incorporated. That way, the business is treated as a separate entity, as long as you keep the corporation's assets separate from yours. If something goes wrong and you get sued, your personal assets will be protected--only the corporation's assets will be available to the plaintiff.

I have searched through many work at home opportunities. You have to be very careful in what you choose, because they will ask you for money and you will not get what you thought. Selling online is the best way to make money at home, but you must do some research for products and suppliers. These opportunities are made by you and not someone whose home business is to scam you for $49 to join their home business opportunity.

start with choosing something you like to do. being an entrepreneur is all about doing something you love. if you have a hobby, try to figure out if you can make money doing it. if you do something really well, and people ask you about it, odds are that someone would pay you to do it: bake, sew, art, clean, etc.. There are lots of resources to help you start up, check with your local town hall/city hall about economic development help and tutorials. often the help is free!
