I believe strongly in keeping business and pleasure separate.

There is a difference between an accquaintance and a friend. My co-workers are accquaintances.

Collegues are just collegues. Not friends outside of work.

both because of the mix of friends. Depends on where and whether my interests cross - sometimes I have a choice depending on circumstances, other times I'm happy to separate the two or on the other hand throw the two together,
I have been privy to the most unlikely friendships just by not worrying about questions like this -the rights and wrongs of etiquitte - there are no rules ~

My really best friend are those from high school, I dont really think that my collegues are my best friend.

my collegues are not my close friends!!! i consider them just my normal friends. friends that i "have" to be around with. they are competitors... likely to compete with me when i'm even trying to. Close friends are near to my bestfriends i may have to say....

Some of my colleagues are only my 'close friends' at work. Some of them are 'artificial relationships' and
I don't hang out with them or socialize more than necessary.

Mostly colleagues. But friends to the point where I choose their company for lunch, or happy hour.

I dont beleive in bringing my work home. I talk to them, goof off when I have time, and at times we have lunch together, but when I leave, I leave and then it's time to be with my family, my wife and kids.
