or to somebody even close to that rank?
I once did some childcare for a screen writer...and I remember he seemed really adamant about me knowing what he did for a living..(which was screen writing for big t.v. shows, like Mash, and Cheers, and more!) I decided to become a thorn in his side..and NOT want or wish to hear what he was saying...as well as just say "so?" Or "Oh, that's okay!"(He was pretty upset! I really made him unhappy! He was trying too hard to try to make me impressed...I was impressed, but, heck if I was going to admit that to a "snob" like him! LOL!)
He also really wanted to show me the little cottage out in their back yard(which,I thought I would have loved to be in, myself) but, he would write all of his scripts out there....the cottage, had a sun roof or something! It was rather cool! I liked it...but, I didn't want for him to know that I liked it! I just hated his "I am soooo wonderful attitude"! It made me sick!

P.S. but since then, the only other time that I wasn't too sweet to a celeb, was when the fella that whistled for "Woodstock" in a Peanuts movie came to visit kids at a childrens Hospital, and then years later at a junior college...both times when I was there..I decided to become a cold heart to this fella...because he screamed at these very ill children to "either shut up, or get out!" because he was trying to whistle and put on a show..and they were talking! I was angry with this dude, after that...he had totally lost all of my respect!
I decided that if I had to bump into him again..I would be just as rude...and inconsiderate back...so that he would get the picture! Unfortunately, he was too lame to get it at all! oh well!

I think though, that I would just try to be nice to them..mostly leave them be....I am sure that it isn't a "picnic" for them, what with the photographers who are huge pain in the butt!
I hope someday, that the papparrazi gets the message, and leaves the stars alone, for a change..so that they can LIVE!!!! (Look what happened with a few others? They are no longer here with us, because of the desperation of some loony photographers! (But, I also would say, if you could just bargain a bit with some , then maybe they will back off too! which is what some stars might do, already..but, it is a better tactic then trying to outrun them or out drive them! Way too dangerous! n' Scary too!

Years ago, my ex-husband and I took out a client of his to a comedy show in San Francisco. We took him back to his hotel at the Holiday Inn Fishermans Wharf. Since the whole evening was on my husbands company we were drinking all night. Anyway, we left the clients room at about 3am. On our way down the elevator stopped and this large black man gets in. I was pretty faced and did not pay too much attention.

As we walked into the parking garage, my ex said he thought that man was alex haley from roots. So, I turn around and go running back into the very empty lobby. The man was getting back into the elevator so I put my hand in to stop the door from closing. This pissed him off.

So, to make things worse, I asked him if he was Alex Haley because he really looked like him. In his booming voice he said, "No, but people alway confuse me for him because I played him in Roots"

All of a sudden all I could remember was that I had also seen him in Conan the Barbarian (this was the 80's). So, I yelled out, you're Conan! He was losing his patience by then and said, NO!.

So, like a moron I said, well, who are you!

He said James Earl Jones. Even though I was already pissing him off, I asked for his autograph.

I didn't get his autograph.

No, not really. I spent an afternoon with Roger Clemens (Houston Astros Pitcher) and made it a point to only talk about golf (rather than baseball) if that counts.

There's a long list of celebrities that I'd love to have a chance to annoy if only I had the time.
