Dessie'Rae is pronounced Dessirae. We live in Oklahoma, so i guess pretty much any name we come up with is going to sound hillybilly(ish) lol

I'm sorry about your previous loss. I would not name a child after a deceased sibling, they will live in that child's shadow their whole life.

I like Thomas Ray, but Dessie'Rae Renae seams a bit repetitive (for lack of a better word) to me. However, if you and the babies daddy like the names, then that is all that should really matter. I think that naming the baby after a relative or someone that you really love is great, it gives their name even more meaning.

That's sweet. By all means incorporate you deceased family members into the names. It can help you carry on their memory. I'm sorry to hear that you lost a son. I can't even begin to imagine. Good luck w/the new bundle!

I personally don't like the girls name that much but I think that it's wonderful to name children after their family members. So go for it. And sorry about your son, that has to be horrible. Good luck.

Why not try something that's not spelled H-I-C-K? Your child will thank you.
