Do what Jenn mentioned and ignore the "edgier" stuff. he's a concentrated visitor at a marriage, for chrissakes, no longer a contestant on Dancing With the celebs. And who is conscious, he ought to % a journey for another party sometime, like yet another wedding ceremony, or a funeral, or a mix of the two. attempt a military blue (even perchance with pinstripes) 2 button (3 button is well-known appropriate now, yet that'll bypass) with flat front pants and no cuff. he will look like he owns the region. Edit: yeah, what Deaner mentioned too.

Grey for a man. Grey is acceptable at everything from social events to major life events like weddings and funerals. Black is too severe and beige wouldn't be right in winter.
Blue is good for a woman. It's very neutral in that it can be worn for business or socially. Black is too severe and gray is too drab. Beige is a good neutral, too, but doesn't look good on a lot of women. It depends on your coloring.

For a man, black or dark grey, maybe with a subtle pinstripe. That should work pretty much anywhere - weddings, funerals, interviews, going out - depending on shirts and ties that you wear with it.
I'd probably say a mid-grey for women, but I'm no expert.

it completely depends i am almost the spitting image of my mum but we have different complexions my best colour the one that suits me most is red but put anything red on her and it washes her out and she looks a right minger but put white on her and it looks great but has opposite effect on me so it depends on variables like skin tone hair colour and eye colour but the easiest colours to go for that would be good for any occasion are tour classic darks navy and black for a man a dark suit can be well contrasted and brought out for any occasion by an array of different coloured shirts for a woman the classic l b d can be changed with use of different jewellery, shoes, cardigans and wraps of all different colours and with or without tights

Depends on what colour suits you. Black, navy and grey are good for both men and women.

I probably wear my dark green suit more than anything else. It just looks good. I also wear my gray suit alot too. I'm not really into black, b/c thats what everybody wears.

I think charcoal grey is best for both. A woman can make an evening look by accenting it with red or black and a day look by accenting it with ivory or other pastel colors. A man can make an evening look with royal blue or dark green and a daytime look with white or baby blue......................

Dark blue or dark grey looks good and is versatile for most occasions, whether professional, business, formal, etc. The one thing which ALWAYS looks good is a crisp, white shirt to go with it.
