I know most horses tend to be stiffer and less balanced going one way on a circle- most of them I have found to have problems on the right side, so that would make most left sided. Very few horses are equally balanced on both sides (ambidextrious)

I would have to say from observing my dog that they are better with a particular paw i.e. right or left. When my dog has a bone that she is chewing on she tends to use her right paw all the time to hold it down or flip it around and she places the right paw on my lap to get my attention when she wants to go play outside. So I would definitely say that dogs have a side that they prefer to use.

You bet they are! People handling dogs in Agility and herding need to know if their dog is left or right handed because they will turn tighter & faster to the "good" side. One of my girls is so left handed that she can spin chasing her tail to the left but the first time I tried to get her to spin to the right she fell over!

hmmm...something to think about but i noticed my dog will shake with her right every time and my cat...well, he's autistic so i cant tell with him...now my horses they have two brains....all horses have a left and a right and they are NOT bridged together so you really have two brains to work with...the left side is the rational, thought side and the right is emotional...kinda like us humans only we have the bridge that connects both sides...so i'd say at least horses are right and left handed ;)...ambidexterious? (sp?)

That's not all. The "gods" speak of themselves, and to each other in plural form in many places in the Bible. Quoting from the book No Meek Messiah by M. Paulkovich: Genesis 3:5, "and ye shall be as gods." Genesis 11:7, "let us go down, and there confound their language..." Exodus 15:11, "... O Lord, among the gods..." Exodus 18:11, "the Lord is greater than all gods..." Deuteronomy 10:17, "For the Lord your God is God of gods," et cetera. The Old Testament is thus a poly-monotheist blend...

I think that animals are left or right pawed. I know it for a fact about elephants. They prefer one tusk to the other, and it is called a "tool tusk". Cool question. I'm gonna star it.

Horses differ in whether they are more flexible bending to go round right hand corners or left (ie clockwise or anti-clockwise).

they do definately have a handedness. One of my cats is left handed "pawed", one is a righty and the other is ambidextrious.
