At the moment? No U.S. city because of the weak dollar.
For 14 years, Tokio was the most expensive city in the world, but 2006 it was displaced by Oslo, also because of the high sales taxes (25%!) on everything there. Paris, Copenhagen, London and Tokio are following.

Los Angeles. Stationed near there while in the Military -- it was horribly expensive and such a relief to get orders OUT of that area. (and the living conditions are NOT good either)

Paris !! i got a round of 3 three drinks about 14 years ago now, from hotel bar and cost me the equivilant to about £12 which is alot now never mind then !
