by infectious i mean you just cant help but nod your head when it comes on-my choice is "Jumpin' jack flash". most recognisable song i mean one that EVERYONE has heard and you can go pretty much every where in the world and it'll be recognized even if the name is not known- here my choice is either "born to be wild" or "bad to the bone"....

Again, I agree with the guy who says "there are so Many", I can think of 20, in just this minute. But, One must give mention to "smoke on the water"!!!!
I also like to mention to opening of "Day Tripper" and while probably over looked another George Harrison riff "Taxman"
which I feel has been heavily stolen.
AS for recognizable, lets go way back to "jail-house rock" and "rock around the clock" and in reality, though one could easily say it is no rock song "Yesterday" is I think still like the most recorded song ever. and while on the Beatles back to infectious....how about "What is Life" by George Harrison which was also recently covered....
