Do not allow yourself ANYTHING other than accomplishing your goals. Start making small goals that you can reach, one step at a time, and let those small goals be the building blocks of larger goals.
Small goals can be like
1. Cancel any plans that obstructs the goal.
2. Make a checklist of what you want to do.
3. Prepare yourself for the study time (eat, shower, set up your study area).
4. IF you have to, break everything down as far as you must, for instance, one goal could be just to get the first paragraph, or title down.
5. Remember the feelings you had when you first started, before you started procrastinating.

Realize that you may never get this chance again!

Ah, I kill myself every week because I'm so lazy. I want to get up and take care of business, but I just, I just don't! Then I get so angry at myself afterwards, like, why didnt you get off your butt and just do it?
Something I've noticed about myself though, is that even though I don't want to do something, if I can convince myself to start it, I will immediately want to finish it. I can't leave things open ended. Maybe this will be the same for you?
Or, write down a schedule of the things you need to do, and assign particular days to do each thing. And dont forget to give yourself a day to play around too! Then, try setting aside some money, and everytime you do something constructive you get a bonus to spend on whatever you want. If you dont do what you had planned on doing, you have to donate the money, give it to your parents, or spend it on school supplies, lol.

Maybe that will motivate you! Hope it helps. GOOD LUCK!

This worked wonders for me in the old days...1) get all the material together and go over it a number of times the previous night. Then when you're too sleepy to go on, set the alarm for 3:00. The alarm got me up and I read it all through, in a semi-awake state and then fell asleep. Rushed to school the next morning and poured out the material perfectly. Got A's. Of course, this doesn't help reasoning and analysis, but it did accomplish good grades. I think it's called "auto-genesis"??? Our conscious mind is messed up with anxiety and tension. In a semi-conscious state, it's clear of all that clutter and tends to take in material as is. Then, it's like regurgitating the next morning. Of course that doesn't help if you don't understand the material--just to remember it. You'll find your own style. Good luck!!

Get off of Yahoo! Answers and go study!
Just kidding... it just takes a lot of self-discipline. There aren't any secrets, no tricks... you just have to do it.
I do, however, have one little tip:
Whenever you first get an assignment start immediately either reading, planning, writing... something! It's really hard to start something when you've been putting it off, so if you start doing something as soon as it's assigned, it'll be easier to pick up later even if you do put it off a little bit.

Pull your socks up girl! If you know this week will be crucial then you know what you got to do. it's hard trying to motivate yourself, i know, but you gotta think about things in the long run. I make posters and stick them all over my room to help me out so when im getting ready i just read them out of boredom. it helps. good luck any how.

Sure I'll help... after lunch.

Seriously, the only person to help you is yourself. Turn off the computer and crack some books. Turn off the phone. Close the door.

This is not rocket science.
