No. The love of my life chose drugs over me. I miss him as he was my best friend as well, but I couldn't stop him going down that slippery slope, I tried to hold on for a long time but I didn't want to get pulled down with him, so I let go of him.
I sometimes still feel guilty for not trying more or hanging on that bit longer, but I had got to the point where I was drained and had no more to give. He is now with someone else (they are both users) and I am just doing my thing! Life goes on!

I can honestly say yes that I am with the love of my life, My hubby and I have been together for 22 year and trust me we have been through alot , the good ,the bad and the ugly , and I would still lay my life on the line for him, he treats me like a queen and tells me ho much he loves me every day;O} and I too him as well, He is my soul mate

There is no "THE" love of your life. That implies that if your partner dies, you would never again find the love of your life. Everyone else is just below that. Also, "THE" love of your life implies that there is FATE and that then eliminates free choice. If that's the case, nobody should worry about relationships because "what's meant to happen will happen" regardless.

Yes I am, I've been with him for 26 years and married to him for 23 years, he is a beautiful wonderful man and I love him to bits.

nope still waiting for a white horse to gallop along with my knight in shining armour!! like shixx as if that would happen, more like find a bloke with my beer goggles on declare my undying love for him and wake up with a fat, bald, greasey ninety year old slobbering on my shoulder with false teeth in a glass staring at me menecingly from the bedside cabinet! i will keep dreaming about option one it sounds better lol!

I am - we used to break up and get back together over and over again, until we ended it completely. We caught up a few years later and are more in love than ever, sorted out our differences and couldn't be happier! xo
