I'm 20 years old gay and am superficial too. I wasn't gay and had never attracted in guys before I turned to be gay. That time I was straight, I didn't know I was this much of superficial guy.
I live in gay town(that made me gay though) and when I go to a cafe where mostly gays, people seem like always looking for cute guys and when a cute guy came into the cafe, everyone looks at him. I'm superficial too but the cafe is too strange. Not only in the cafe but gay street too.
Also gays dress really nice usually. Is that because they are superficial?
I thought superficial thing is just for high school student stuff but old gay guys to that in the cafe too.
Because they are attracted in same sex, that's why they more see others loos?(like I care hair style that's why I care about other guys hair style)
Or is that because it's gay town? How about gay guys in non gay town?
Are there many non superficial guys?

I believe I turned to be gay. When I was in my country, I didn't hate gay but just had a GF and sometimes made joke about gays like many straight guys do. But I moved to this gay town and gay guys talked to me and they showed the town(I didn't really speak English too) and one gay guy showed his bed finally lol I think I wasn't gay or at least didn't realize I have intereste in guys body.

I don't know if this is real or not.
However, what I have noticed is that my aunt has a lot of gay friends, and they are more concerned about clothing, social position, etc, than a lot of guys I know.
I do think that guys in general are more visually stimulated than women are. As the saying goes "Men fall in love with their eyes, women fall in love with their ears".
Women tend to find what someone says as attractive. There has to be a lack of initial repulsion, but not necessarily an "Oh man, he's hot" moment.
Since it is guys hanging out with other guys to try to find love, it tends to be a little more superficial in general because it is a bunch of men.

I'm not superficial. I do dress nice, but that's because it makes me feel better about me. I could care less what other people think.
You turned to be gay, you were straight before. Interesting. I have always been gay, although I denied it for 40 some years. If you were superficial before, you are going to be superficial now. It's not the general gay populace, it's just you.

Yes there are many Gay people that aren't superficial. About the same percentage of straight people. Not everyone lives in your town. Open you mind and explore the world you will see for yourself.

Not all gays are superficial. Just like you just didn't one day turn gay.
Nice clothing doesn't mean one is superficial. It means that a person has the cash to buy nicer clothing.

if you really were gay, you'd know that you don't actually just "turn gay", there is only a period of acceptance, where you just accept the fact that your whole life you've been aroused by males, and not by females.
the fact that you also generalise and seem to declare guys as shallow and superficial, rather than point out that it isn't 100% of guys, leads me to believe this isn't a real question,and is further compounded by the almost comic tone your entire question is centered around, so i'm not going to give a real answer.

They aren't superficial, that's stereotyping. Are you trying to win a bet to see how many times you can say gay in a question? You won, that's fine, but um if you truly were, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have "turned to be gay".
