Depends on where u live. In the Caribbean it's hard to tell because every1 knows a soca artist. In the America it would Machel Montano, in Europe it would be a toss between Kevin Little and Allison Hinds, in the East it would be Rupee but more recently Minmi as she seems to capture the Japanese audience. But then again David Rudder is quite famous in his own right as an artist.

For me , before Soca music became an expression of sexual liberty the leader was Lord Shorty . Now perhaps.....Machel Montano !!
