I couldn't find any info on Ebay's site, and I thought maybe someone would be able to help me find out if it's ok to sell new, un-opened contact lenses on Ebay. Thanks!!

Technically you can sell whatever you want on Ebay. However, selling brand new unopened contact lenses could get you in trouble if you are selling other companies products and making a profit from this. I would actually contact Ebay about the matter and get actual information from them. They may want you to set up some sort of special "store identity" so that the contact companies get a cut of the profits are something.

Considering all the other "crazy" things for sale there, contact lenses should be fine. But I wonder if you will actually get an bidders. It is going to be limited to only those people who can use your prescription. Assuming that you know your prescription so you can list it, most people looking at it would not know their, so they would not bid.

I would guess that the reason you do not see anyone selling contacts on e-bay is that they would not sell well.

But - hey - give it a try. You might discover it is the next million dollar idea....

Because contacts cannot be dispensed without a prescription, no. If you tried to list them on E-bay, your listing may very well be pulled by the watchdog groups on there. I know it's a huge waste of money to have that stockpile. Best thing I can suggest is to contact your eye doctor and ask for any ideas on what can be done with them....perhaps through his/her office they might have a donation type program to help people out who could otherwise not afford them?? but they would have to dispense them because of the RX factor.

Well someone sold a box of "dehydrated water" (took me a minute to realize that would be just AIR)
I saw some one sold a box of snow and plenty of other weird things have been sold on there so I dont see why not.
Make sure you put the perscription info on your ad.
Good luck

Uh, i suppose you could, but it would be a really bad idea, because if someone bought them and there was something wrong with them, then they could sue your a** off. Not to mention contact lenses are prescription.

i am sure you could but the question is if anybody would buy those things? I mean they are i guess a personal product that are prescription so not everybody can use them
