For first pregnancies no this is not a problem. You generally don't know what you are feeling till around 22 weeks. The more pregnancies you have the earlier you feel signs of life.

No, no, no, no, and no! Assuming you have had regular prenatal care, sweetie just relax. I know that is hard to do as there are so many concerns and fears at this point. I didn't feel my first child move until I was well past twenty weeks. It will be any day (or week) now. Don't worry. When I first felt my baby, it was more of a flutter, like when your stomach turns as you go over a hill. If you want to prompt it, go eat something and drink some orange juice and lie down to talk to your baby a bit. Calm down, you're fine.

Also, ignore all the people who have the nerve to tell you otherwise. I had so many people say horrible things just because I had not felt the little guy move. They are busy and still so very small. It will come.

I will suggest u 2 concentrate on the movements more,if this is ur 1st preg it is possible tht u not even notice any movements & probably wht ever is going inside u can think its a gas.
Don't worry relax, jst drink some cold water or orange juice & lie down on ur left side close ur eyes & then try 2 concentrate if u feel sme movements(try this at diff times fr 2-3 times) if still u don't feel anything plz visit ur doctor ASAP.
It is very normal tht in some cases women do feel or say notice the movements at around 22wks.
Congratulations,
myself 21weeks.

If this is your first, you could have felt movements and not realise it, feels like a fish swimming around in your belly or the fluttering of butterflies. In Australia we have a ultrasound at 18 - 20 weeks, which would rule out any problems, maybe talk to your doctor about your concerns. Also, if your placenta is sitting at the front of your belly you won't feel as much movement either.

No, some people dont feel it till later on, some people just dont recognise the movement as it doesnt feel like kicks that early on, wait another few weeks and if you still havent felt ANYTHING, go ask a doctor.

20 weeks is when you usually start to feel something, i'd bet u'd feel something in the next week or so, but that doesn't mean u'd recognized the feeling. At first its just a flutter, kind of like a gas bubble, as the baby gets bigger it will be more noticeable. It's a little early for concern.

No dont worry.

It can be hard to feel the movement of the baby until a bit later in the pregnancy.

If you still feel concerned just have a check up and mention it to your obstetrician or midwife. They will check baby is all ok. I am sure it is just a bit early to be feeling baby move yet.

Best of luck

No problem at all especially if you are a first time mom! I didn't feel my baby until 21 weeks and you could be feeling your baby and not even know that is what it is. Sometimes it can just feel like gas or little bubbles in your stomach! Youll know and it will be amazing. No worries and good luck!
