my moniter has speakers built in.i have tried every possible thing i could think of or learn about to restore it and nothing has worked.all my setting are correct,i havent found any warnings in yellow and countless other things.please help!

i would conncect your connection.. if your connection is there.. then i would try and reinstall the drivers for the sound card.. try and insert other speakers to see if it works.. if not then i wouls say that your monitor speakers dont workk i had a problem like that.. maybe soon i will get them to work lol..

Did they work at one time and now they don't work? Try plugging some headphones into the speaker jack and see if you can hear sounds out of it... if you can then there is nothing wrong with your sound card or set up. It could then be the speaker cable to the monitor or the monitor speakers themselves. Eliminate what you can - swap cable or whatever, but you might end up having to go with regular external speakers. Hope this helps...

I am assuming that you have tried the obvious, such as connections. Have you tried another speaker and A/C adapter? You can double click the speaker in the system tray and bring up a panel that can be used to turn down or mute different part of your sound system.

After you have tried everything you can think of and tried all the suggestions from the answers you get try reloading the sound drivers.

are you speakers plugged in to the right hole at the back of your pc, it should be the green one, get some headphones to eliminate the speakers from being the problem then email me

did you maybe blow your speakers? if you are sure that you didnt then you might want to check if any sound settings are muted (also go to properties and see if anything importent is unclicked that you might need) if not you might want to check your sound card :)
