I have a pc and tata indicom internate concn. while surfing after some time it disconnects and a task bar bliks for a while and its colour changes and a display comes on phone that
"Going to dorment" what could be the reason ? and what is the remedy?

u have a lame internet connection.
switch to bsnl or mtnl there is nothing wrong with ur computer.
its ur ISP.

Check your Power settings, under the Screensaver Tab in Display Properties.
Right-click on the Desktop and choose Properties.

I'm not a guy, but it sounds like your IP is shutting down, is there a time limit on the amount of time you can be on the internet?
I would also run your spyware/virus programs in safe mode just to make sure there are no probs there, if that doesn't help, contact your IP and see what's going on

I would try downloading AVG an antivirus software.. and then run a scan i think you may have a virus of some kind..

This is not a PC problem - but a network problem; happens because there is no network traffic, and therefore your ISP is disconnecting you.
