Jealousy is both good and bad. If I'm jealous of something (such as someone's success or material goods) then it makes me work harder to be able to obtain things myself and I have. Some of my family are jealous of me, and I've yet to figure out why. This sounds terrible but I'm honest. I love it when my older sister is jealous of something I've done. When I was struggling to find a job and she got one she rubbed it in my face and when I had my son and my friends disappeared she actually laughed.
