I know I should know this with this being my third, but if I'm having contractions and the baby is still moving around alot it's probally just braxton hicks, right? Sometimes the movements are really erratic and I don't remember this happening before. My oldest is 8 so it's hard to remember and my youngest had IUGR and I hardly ever even felt her move cuz she was so small.

another weird thing is that the contractions start or are worse when I'm laying down or resting, if I'm up moving I don't have them as much, but as soon as I sit/lay down they start, I would assume it should be the opposite. I go see my midwife tomorrow, just curious as to others opinions

In the info I've been given on false labour it says one of the signs that it is false labour (ie NOT the real thing) is that the baby moves a lot in between contractions. Just as long as the movements dont become frantic.
Hope that helps, also time the contractions, if they are irregular then chances are their braxton hicks
Good luck

When I had my second child I had these for three weeks before the birth and I asked the doctor how I could tell when I was in full labor when I was having contractions every day, and he said you will know. Its the difference between "Oh, there goes another one" and "Hold onto the world cause this one's a doosy!!!!"
Hope that helps and safe delivery!
And yes, the baby does move more in between Braxton Hicks contractions.
But as to the timing, I was having regular contractions 7 - 10 minutes apart, at the time, sometimes for a few hours, then they would disappear.

Yes during active labor the baby gets pretty still except for positioning it's head into the pelvis face down etc......''transition'' don't feel silly I went to the hospital with braxton hicks when I was pregnant the first time also 8 years ago and I haven't had any yetthis time around I'm 30 weeks so I still have time for these ''warm up'' contractions!! Good luck!!

It feels like Braxton Hicks to me. Since you are only some days clear of giving beginning you are normally simply contracting moderately getting your cervix capable. If it is bothering you are taking a hot tub to support your frame chill out or take a look at ingesting a few glasses of water, in view that those contractions can in many instances be precipitated by way of dehydration. If it is not bothersome than it might simply be your little one relocating round. The change among your little one relocating and contractions are plenty one of a kind, even though so that you will have to be in a position to inform.

Yes, probably those are Braxton`s, although you can`t rule out those are real contractions since you are 34 weeks already.
My baby still moved a lott through my whole labour.
See your gyno if you are worried, nothing is to silly to ask, even if it`s your 3d.
Good luck

if you drink some water and lay down and they stop they are probably bh...or anything else you can think to calm yourself down...but if nothing stops them go to the hospital and get checked out, even if its just to reassure yourself.
