All cats are predators. Large cats are not normally hunted, with the exception of the weak and injured.

Cheetahs hunt by stalking a target prey animal until they are close enough to catch it by a fast dash. They must be close because even though the cheetah is the fastest land animal, it can maintain this high rate of speed for only a short time, while most prey animals have more staying power. When the cheetah reaches its prey, it trips it using its front claws. It then pins the prey to the ground and strangles it by biting and holding it on the neck. Typical prey are small grazing animals.

It's a predator. Humans may hunt cheetahs for their skin or because they think the cheetahs are dangerous, but they don't eat them, so cheetahs are not humans' prey.

A cheetah is a predator and it hunts small deer like impala, springbuck.
Big game hunters might hunt cheetahs but that is not very common
