Aparently Cancer is the best romantic match - or so I was told (I am Taurus)... but it is well know that Taurus is the only sign that is compatible with all the others...

My parents were Taurus and Cancer.
They argued like cat and dog sometimes, but they were completely devoted to each other. My Mum died 2 years ago, and my Dad still won't consider even looking at another woman. He says she was the love of his life, and he doesn't want anyone else. As for my Mum all she worried about while she was dying is that Dad would be ok without her, that he would eat properly etc.
I think you should find another Taurean or a Cancerean.
I am an Aquarian with an Aquarian partner, and very happy. I have been out with Taureans before, but although they were all lovely they were not right for me, so steer clear of Aquarians!

I agree with prettykitty. Us Taureans are pretty tolerant and laid back creatures that can get along with most signs. But you don't want a sign that is too unstable as we like our stable lives! So i guess rule out Aries and Sagittarius. We are supposed to get on with Virgos and Capricorns, but personally, i find capricorns a bit moody.

Ideally a fellow earth sign such as Virgo or Capricorn. Alternatively go for a water sign such as Pisces, Cancer or Scorpio as water nurtures the earth and good things will grow from the pairing. Not ideal with air or fire signs but love will conquer all.

Virgo or Capricorn, because they're Earth signs. You'll get on well with Fire signs such as Sagittarius but they are not spouse material for a Taurus.
