Oh they know about it all right. There's no point carrying on as if nothing's happened when you're actually upset or angry. If everyone did that we'd all be insane. If you bottle it up it;ll only be so long until you explode in a fit of rage and that can't be good.

It depends. I am a firm believer in picking your battles.
I think it sucks to be the type of person who ALWAYS has to let everyone know when they have been upset. Equally bad is others who take whatever is dished out to them, martyrs have long been made redundant!
I think it's important to weigh up the situation before reacting hastily. Remember there are lots of people who will provoke because it gives them a rise and sometimes people unintentionally say/do things and we react over sensitively.
I think if you are known as being hot-headed then it's esp important to give yourself time to cool down before lashing out and making a situation escalate until it's a full blown war of 'he said...she said'...nature.
Good luck to ya!

No,they don't always know about it. However, if someone upsets me, it is most likely that I'll inform them, but not always in order to keep the peace.
For instance, if the person keeps repeating the same thing over and over-I'll inform them sometimes and sometimes not because they might be doing it on purpose and by telling them all the time you might actually be spurring them on.

It depends on what the person has said to you. Sometimes what you think upsets you doesn't always upset someone else. Many of us are sensitive to different things in life.
You can talk to this person and tell them that your feelings were hurt by what they said. Don't say "you hurt my feelings" again ... ""my feelings were hurt by what you said." There is a difference because no one can really hurt your feelings as you have total control over them.

It depends what it is...! This happened to me yesterday - a friend let me down on something that has been planned for 2 months, one day before the event. I rang her to say I understood her reasons but I was upset.
I'm always understanding about it, will let people know when they've upset me.

its hard for me to hide my emotions. If someone hurts me, it shows.
Recently I found on our computer websites recently visited with pornography on it, and I cried. He was at work at the time I found this, but when I came home that night, he could tell something was wrong. I havent confronted him about it, and made some excuse that I was frustrated with work and life.
It actually depends on the person. Some are able to hide their feelings, and some are not. I wish I was a person who could hide their feelings. Imagine me, a girl who went through 8 years of taking theatre, and drama in school, and can act out almost any scene, but cant even act out her own feelings.

I am not very good at hiding things. If it's a big deal, and I don't feel the reason I'm upset is just ego related, then I will let them know.

They will know about it. I won't throw a tantrum and usually won't even say anything. Eventually, though, the bottled up anger will make me react, if not exactly explode and trust me, they will know how very much I've been upset.

yes because i don't believe in letting things simmer that way i clear the air and it's over and done with life is to short for arguments and continual bad feelings as it's such a waste of everyones time and energy and it's better to get things out in the open than it is to keep them to your selvse as it only leaves you feeling bad and resentfull
