I am not sure if it was the late twenties to mid thirties (29-35).
Do you think that the roaring twenties influenced radio shows, in the sense that they became more conservative thereafter?
Sorry a third question, When did prohibition start and end please?

The Great Depression was on the scene from October 29,1929 until the US involvement in the Second World War and not just in the military sense so I would say 1940 when we starting the aid to the Allies with Lend Lease etc.

There might had been a partial influence on the behalf of conservatives especially with the Depression and the blame of our woes upon the American little man's speculation and we were becoming a Welfare State , a Socialist state, a Communist state under FDR. The radio commentator known as Father Coughlin ,who was a real Catholic priest stressed emphatically his distrust and dislike for FDR's policies as bein too liberal and un-American.

Proibition was passed in1919 with the 18th Amendment to the Constitution or the Volstead Act was ratified by the states in 1920. It came to an end with the 21 st amendment to the Consttitution, the Grann- Harrison bill on March 23,1933 and was ratified on December 5, 1933.

1929 - 1942
And there was a period of Prohibition in the US during the depression as well, I believe went on from 20's to early thirties. Is this what u mean?
not sure about the radio question....if I had to say, I wouldn't think that things would be more conservative - and if they did, it wouldn't stay that way for too long, as we can see with today's radio.
ushistory.org is a great site to look through
Hope this helps and good luck with everything :)

America's Great Depression is regarded as having begun in 1929 with the Stock Market crash, and ended in 1941 with America's entry into World War II.
