Why don't you go to amazon.com and buy a used book on how to treat your employees and co-workers with more respect? When no one's looking, leave it on the manager's desk. In the meantime, keep smiling at the customers and doing your job well. You'll retain your own self respect and keep building your bank account.

By the way, nasty managers and co-workers are limited to fast food restaurants.

You either suck it up or leave. No one is forcing you to work a no-skill job, are they? I'll be frank, fast food is nowhere near the highest paying rate in any area. You need to improve your skill set, even if that means taking a skilled job at the lowest level and working your way up. Education and/or training is also a big boost. Nearly all jobs with skills pay better than no-skill jobs like fast food.

Sorry if you don't like it there. I managed pizzerias back in the 80s. I found that you "got more flies with honey than with vinegar" and had little staff turnover, but that was me.

I understand completely. McDs was my very first job, and the first that gave me a callback. You go through all this training saying how happy you'll be and all that jazz....but in reality, the general manager is a witch and you have to put up wth some rude idiot who has a high paying job who thinks he can treat you horribly becuase you work there.

I use to work at a place called Whataburger..and i cant tlel you how many people would ***** about their food. I think people just assume since your working there you need the job and are willing to put up with their bitching. I told a lady one time who asked to speak to my manager "i dont give a **** what you say i hate this job". I got a raise after she complained lol
