Sorry I don't know whether I have read correctly, but did you say 30 or 13, if it was the latter, then I would say, yep I agree. I do think that at the age of 30 you can and must at least wear some make-up. When a girl of say 18 wears make-up she can get away with much less than say a 30 year old, for by this time fine lines are beginning to show and why in heavens name not try and soften or conceal them. I don't mean wear make-up like that of a clown, but really I do think she can enhance certain good parts and conceal the not so good. This is only my opinion. Take care

I personally got a kick out of all the responses to this question! You really must have a type-o.

Someone else who responded looked up some of your other questions and you must not be as old as you say, or you have a 13 year old. Even so, 13 year olds need to experience some forms of make up, even if it's powder, eyeshadow, and mascara.

A girl / lady / woman should never "hide" behind their makeup. Makeup is designed to bring out their natural beauty and "help" them feel better about themselves. It's very important to promote self-confidence. If your daughter, or any girl for that matter, is wearing 80 inches of eyeliner and mascara...yeah...I'd send her back to the bathroom and tell her to wash off 99% of it.

Thanks for all the laughs so early in the morning. Brightened my day!

Ask yourself, if 30 years is too young to wear makeup, what age can she get married and have children ! You know what I mean or do I have to spell it out!
It's alittle too late to tell a grown woman what to do. I hope you told her she was too young to wear makeup when she was 13. Now let go and be happy that what you think is a problem, is the only problem you have.

You say 30 but I hope you mean 3 years old. Because if you have a 30 year old daughter and you're still dictating whether or not she can wear make-up, she needs to grow a spine and you need to let her go. But, if you're talking about a 3 year old then yeah, it's too young. Please clarify.

I don't understand why people get on here and ask questions that are obviously not true. How could you have one question that states that you are 10 years old and then have another that says your 30 year old daughter?

ARE you for real
is this a type O or something
at 30 the poor woman should know how to apply makeup not be scared of it
if she is wearing it and it doesnt look good or looks trashy
do her a favor and take her to a mall or a beauit salon and get a proffessional to show her how to apply it proper
TIME TO GROW UP AND LET YOUR DAUGHTER DO TE SAME BEFORE HER CONFIDENCE IS CRUSHED

Sorry dear but after 18 your daughter became an adult and does what she likes to her body hopefully with in reason. If she is putting it on too heavy treat her to a beauty shop make over and they'll teach her how to apply her make up better. I believe in the more natural way lighter is better. Good Luck :)

Well 30 isn't too young to wear makeup. If you know how to apply it and what colors and shades to use, it looks really nice. You might want to try to help her find her colors and shades instead of trying to get her to skip it all together.
