I am a carpenter and do a lot of remodeling. I do everything from the breaker-box out: running wire, installing light fixtures, replacing light fixtures, outlets, switches, etc. Do I have to get a license to do this in Ohio? If so, how do I go about obtaining one?

If you are rewiring a house I do believe so but I am not sure about the state of ohio. I know in Indiana you do. Here is a web page that might be able to help you find out how to obtain this kinda license in the state of ohio...

I think you may have to go to school for this I am not to sure how you obtain one. You might find that page helpful.
But I think you do have to have one if you are going to be working with wiring on a home or any type of wiring for that matter.
I hope I was of some help.
