This friend had always been over posessive and almost obsessed with me. He dint like me hangin out with anyone else and if i did he created problems for me. He even messed up my interview for a job by callin them with false things about me. I dont have proof for it but i know its him. He showed to be very nice like a gentleman on the outside but was very mean in reality, i got to see his real face sometime ago. Donno why but he likes puting me into trouble and then showing up to help sometimes even without me telling him the problem, he'd know bout it. Thats when i started suspecting him but just cud not admit it. Well we had a big fight recently and I ended the frndshp. He was extremely mad at me and sent me curseful sms full of hatred. I am scared for my family and dog(he knows how much i love my dog) as iam away at work most of the day. Can i take any legal actions against him even without having any concrete proof?or any other way i can keep my family safe from him?

Definitely keep a record of every time you encounter him and ask for phone records to show how many times this person has called, police are only interested in proof. You can contact a lawyer and go over your options for a restraining order, but we all know how effective those are. Save every note, every message, anything and everything that he sends you. Take pictures of him standing outside your door, whatever it takes to prove this dude is stalking you....above all, beware of your surroundings at all times....be safe..

The only thing you can do is watch your back and pray for him to find peace. I had a friend kind of like that, made it so all things were in ultimately in her control...couldn't even talk to other friends if she was around.... She had other problems though, and I guess your friend does too, and if those problems were to be resolved, he wouldn't be obsessed with you. So pray he finds good resolutions and just stay away. Don't phone him, don't write him, don't do anything with him unless he DOES actually do something to you such as hurt your dog. Keep in mind, you cannot prove he is the one doing anything to you, so unless you have WITNESSES or proof, you cannot put anything in writing about him or take legal action against him specifically.

they might't be fined on your be conscious, don't be stupid. in simple terms think of if that have been conceivable, and that they knew who you have been, they might in simple terms have a pal rfile you and say you ran a pink mild, and you'd be fined! the only conceivable factor is, some place have a rfile line which places the plate on a watch fastened record for a mutually as, and if an officer spots them he can look ahead to somewhat to work out if something occurs, and tickets are issued IF he sees an infraction. yet you're actually not officers of the regulation you won't have the ability to have them ticketed, and you particular as heck have no damages so there is not any reason for criminal action. Sorry, i comprehend that's not what you want to pay attention, yet, it incredibly is chilly complicated fact.

Yes,you have a few options.First call the police and get a No Trespass Warrant issued on him so that he cannot come onto your property and you can also get a Restraining Order or Order Of Protection on him so that he cannot come near you..Plain & Simple if he violates either one he will be arrested and go to jail..Good Luck & Best Wishes

Well if he scares you that bad I would get a restraining order right away. If you fear for your self and your family's safety. By the way how old is this guy?

Why don't you just tell him up front that you don't want him in your life? I notice you keep referring to him as "a friend" and letting him do all these things behind your back. If he's doing it alot and you're not saying anything directly to him, you're just as much at fault as he is. Woman up, dammit and stop trying to go behind his back with legal actions. That's like a cowardly thing to do. Apparently you want to be the nice guy and have the legal system do the bad guy thing for you.
