Yes. After Columbine I rallied every politician I knew and more about gun laws and this fame connection with the outrage these guys feel. It was no surprise to wake up to another school shooting.
My beloved first baby nephew is off to college in the fall. One of my sis in laws is Korean. My other niece nephew half haole/Korean. Boy all blonde girl like Momma full gorgeous Korean. I have been told all are well and too busy with girls and real life to care. It stinks and I worry alot.
VTech has affected me deeply. I get up and write on here
each day. If one person listens and actually hears, wow. When I hear my words spread on these posts I am overwhelmed.

God bless US all, and all our fallen heroes. Aloha.

Well kinda... I'm also a South Korean and now there's this negative view of them globally. It's amazing to see that one person can make such an impact. People used to think it was only North Koreans that were dangerous, but now they are starting to think its the whole country.

It also makes me wonder why people think hes a south korean. Sure, he was born in south korea, but he left when he was REALLY young. He probably doesnt even remember he's a korean =)

It often helps in these situations to work towards something like this not happening again.

So, for example, you could join a group campaigning against the open sale of guns in the US.

Here's a possible one:

Not really. I don't get depressed about the 100 or so people killed every day in entirely preventable car crashes either. People die untimely deaths every day, it's only the method that differs.

its more like angry not depressed, hopeless yes.
This could have easily been avoided.
pity really, but like everything else, life goes on, its like seeing a car crash while you are driving, you'll be extra careful but then the further you go you'll start to forget and you'll be driving your own usual way.
Thats life....
