That's 100% percent correct, and THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. The first rule of ANY business (and you're going to hate this) is to provide the maximum return to its shareholders.
Kid, no one is forcing you to go into these places. You don't like fast food? Don't eat it. Plain and simple. I rarely eat fast food, but I do own stock in several fast food companies. It is about the money, and money is a good thing. It is up to you to choose to go or not. At the very least, go in moderation. No one twists your arm and forces a Big Mac down your throat.
This faux anxiety is not productive.

u can't prevent from anyone opening any other mcdonalds or burger king as these 2 fast food places bring in a lot of customers. People know that most of their food is not healthy and still choose to eat that way it is up to the people to care for their health and not everyone is overweight their are some people that are underweight or have a high metabolism that are benefiting from fast food places. Again it is up to the individual to care and choose what to eat.

why do we as Americans whine and complain so much. We are the most powerful nation in every aspect but no other country respects us cause we a bunch of crybabies. After 9/11 people complained that we need more security at the airport now those same people complain that the security lines and procedures are too long. You can't stop fast food joints from opening but YOU and that's the keyword YOU can stop eating there. When you ride down the street Ronald McDonald doesn't dive onto your car and force a burger down your throat but YOU choose to pull in and eat there. Grow up and be responsible for your own actions and stop trying to blame someone else for your poor decision making.

There is nothing we can do to stop them opening up more restaurants. It's called progress. If these owners/builders go through the proper channels, get the right permits, etc., they can open up as many restaurants as they want. We have choices and don't have to eat at these places if we don't want to but if we do on occasion, we can eat salads, chicken, etc. instead of all the fried stuff that is not good for our health. I personally like Wendy's fast food because they have chili and baked potatoes.

Wendys - has the proper tasting nutrition (overall) - AND - the healthiest menu. there is a few thing to be pronounced while the vegetables on your burger (lettuce, onions, tomatoes) are actually sparkling, and not wilting or turning brown on the perimeters. It makes you think of that the the remainder of Wendy's nutrition is in all possibility of a extra suitable high quality than the the remainder of the chains.

Convince people to stop eating there. In a free market economy, the only way to stop them opening more stores is to decrease demand.
They only open the stores because demand is there. If it wasn't profitable to open new stores, they wouldn't do it.
Get a new hobby.

depends on your city. My hometown doesn't allow any chain stores AT ALL. Nobody neeeds to have thoseburgers when there are plenty of great ma and pa places around. They can drive 5 min and find one anyway.
You would likely need to attend city council meetings and have more than a few other people on your side.

why should you views dictate to the millions of people who under their own free will chose to eat there. Nobody forces them to give them money. If you don't like those companies, don't go there.
