I think its a cool name. But you could always think up an awesome first name as rio for the middle name?!
Some good, modern day boy names are,
Matthew(awesome name to go with rio)
Corey/Cory(this would also be an awesome name to go with rio!)
Caelob
Marcus
Jake
Brendan
Sam
Josh
Drew
Kyle
Anthony

The boy's name Rio \rio\ is pronounced REE-oh. It is of Spanish origin, and its meaning is "river".
You go with what you want, don't worry what other people think. Mind you, think about what your son might think of his name has he gets older, I think that is really important.

It's cute, but it translates as river. I think of rivers as more feminine than masculine; but like I said, I at least like the way Rio sounds. :)
