He is an amazing personality and awesome writer. Like he says, "Life is a grand feast!"
I've not read his sci/fi but I'll make efforts now. Thanks for mentioning him.

I did the same thing and Googled. I was aware of him from the Trek universe and I might have read one of his novels way back but I was really impressed by his writings in his blogs. What a complex and interesting man! Being adopted myself I was really fascinated by his tales of adopting in "The martian child". I'll definitely look for the film when it's released. I like John Cusack too.

I read "the man who folded himself" and it was ok but that was all.
