I don't know. I have one 'fan' who has not asked or answered a single question, and only has me on his/her contact list. I would love to be able to email this person to find out why. I can't even try as they don't accept e-mail.
Maybe they are just interested in your Q and As, but don't want to correspond with you. A simple theory, but probably true.

I personaly don't make contacts, but I think that people who don't respond might not find the question interseting, might find it indicreet, mimght not find the time to check emails and answer, might be afraid to talk to someone they don't know.

Its too personal, Y/a is a community thing, theres lots of other people on here! I enjoy both personally but some people might find it to personal!
