Hi ..has anyone ever heard of these devices? or had any experience with them?..i saw them on the net but was a bit scepticle on whether they actually work...any ideas?

Sounds too good to be true doesn't it? That's your answer. While it will do some of the things it claims, it's not the end all be all of filtration and ionization only goes so far. It won't replace regular tank maintanance and in my opinion wouldn't be worth the investment. But that's just my opinion, I haven't used this specifc unit but have used ionization units in the past.

I do not have experience with this but if you have a dealer near you (list of dealers on site) I would go talk to them and see if they have used one in their shop or if they have one on display.
