Thats a nice list, mine would be very similar, although I might switch around Joseph and Belfour...

1. Brodeur....2 Stanley cups, 0 Vezina trophies
2. Roy...........1 Stanley cup, 2 Vezina trophies
3. Belfour.....1 Stanley cup, 2 Vezina trophies
4. Hasek......0 Stanley cups, 5 Vezina trophies
5. Tom Barrasso...2 Stanley cups, 0 Vezina trophies
Those are my picks in order..Keep in mind this is (1990-2000)You can argue that the Vezina winners are the best goalies of those years but to me I think cup wins are more important. Although Barrasso won 2 cups and the others, besides Brodeur, didnt...I couldnt put them before the other 3 guys...he cant compete with Roy, Belfour, and Hasek.

Pretty good list. Let's not forget Mike Richter, John Vanbiesbrouck, Trevor Kidd, Olaf Kolzig, Chris Osgood, Arturs Irbe, Nicolai Khabibulin, Darren Puppa, Ron Hextall, Jose Theodore, Mike Vernon, Ron Tugnutt, and Guy Hebert.
The goalies in your list are much better than these but they're still worth mentioning.
Curtis Joseph would probably be at the top of the list if he could ever manage to win a cup.

Can't really argue with any of those picks, and I'd say Roy, Brodeur, Haserk and Belfour are no-brainers. Cujo was awesome in the 90's, and the only blemish on his resume is that he never won a Cup. Richter, Barrasso and Vernon could get a little consideration here too.

Great question! I base my list on what I perceive as heart & determination as well as flash not just wins & stats.
1-Hasek--would have gladly spent $$ to watch him play
2-Roy--Ditto, and with some crummy teams
3-Brodeur--don't forget, b4 Stevens he had little help in front of him & stood on his head with the best of them.
4-Richter--terrible D in front of him, won them the cup in '94 by sheer will & determination(& Mess didn't hurt)
5-Cujo--great "heart" guy & team leader. He could have played in the no mask days.
Hard to leave off Belfour, you really could call it a pick-em between he & Cujo. But sorry, Barasso was a solid goalie who was on one of the greatest teams ever assembled; he should not get alot of the credit for their Cups.

To the asker, I say good list, but I put Belfour higher. He's my favorite (I like em crazy), but he won a Cup, a couple Presidents Trophies, Vezinas, Jennings, 3rd all time in wins. Calder Trophy, not to mention leading the league in lots of different categories over the years.... that's gotta be enough to rate him at least ahead of Joseph.
To the person who put Joseph ahead of Belfour and Hasek... Are you frickin kidding me?

Where would you rate Tom Barrasso? OK fair he had injury issues. He also helped lead the Pens to two Stanley Cups and helped them in their push, that feel short, in other years. In a general sense though I'm ok with your list, since it is just the 90's.
