My fiance is a cheif but, he is bored with his jobs besides cooking he loves to play his games. I have seen articles and on the tv people that get paid to demo games. How do I find out about companies that are hiring to do this. Can anyone point me in some kind of direction. I have already tryed to google it and that dosn't help at all.

yea goto gamejobs.com ive actually gotten interviews through that site. but game testing is a hard line of work 12+ hour days manditory overtime plus your playing the same broken game day in and out.

You're probably referring to the position as game-tester. Checking company websites (ubisoft.com, ea.com,etc.) is the best and fastest way to find out about job openings. If you want to find out web addresses for these companies, going to videogame websites like www.gamespot.com will expedite your efforts. Click on a game to get its basic information like release date and publisher and there should be a link to the website of that company. Beta-testing however is not playing all the games you want. You'll probably be testing just one game looking for things that are not working properly as opposed to just enjoying a game like you'd normally do in your home.

Nice of you to ask (other man would be jealous)
Perhaps he should be a beta tester if he likes playing games, but it takes a lot of fun away because ones job is to find problems in games (logistic, exploits, bugs and such), he could try at ubisoft(they are hiring where I'm from), ea, codemasters and alike, game developers in general, you could try their sites, find phones and call
