Its usually refrigerated, but i think it only lasts about two weeks.

Scientists are coming up with blood substitutes which can be stored indefinately at room temperature, and some products of human blood, like haemoglobin can be stored for longer periods of time.

Why preserve it? It tastes so much better fresh.

I keep it neatly tucked inside my body. Sometimes it leaks out, and then I just have to deal with it... but most of it just stays in these neat little tubes running all through my body.
