This is definitely not normal. I would recommend calling your dr today to let them know what is going on. In the mean time try to keep your iron levels up by eating things like spinach, raisins, and peanut butter (if not allergic to peanuts of course) to see if that helps ease some of this bleeding til you find out what the dr wants to do next.

Sounds abnormal. I delivered in Oct 2005 and bled for aprox 2 months. then since i was bfeeding the baby, i went without periods for over 1year. now i have my normal periods. you should consult your gyn and check out the reason. sooner the better.

This is not 'normal', but that does not mean that there is something 'wrong' with you. However, just to be safe, I would contact your GYN and talk to them about what possibilitys could be causing this for you so that you can properly address it.

But just in case, you should still be seen.

Based on my doctor and midwives advice, it is not normal. You should stop bleeding after 6 to 8 weeks (the longest). Please see your doctor for check up and pop smear.
