This is assuming the cards used are all the same. How much gain is there to having a duel card setup compared to just one?

Dual cards can have twice the memory speed bit, for example, the 8800 GTS 320, it has a memory bit of 320. If running SLI, which means duel card, it can boast to 640, which means twice the speed, so figure this out buddy!

depending on a few factors, you will probably get a 40-50% increase in real processing power. Definately not double.
