I think that you may be right, when I think to full extent of the 9-11 tragedies it makes me wonder, are people so demented to where we must start conspiring against our nation to devour the hopes and dreams of this land that has already been through so much? At times i would catch myself watching the news before and when it was happening till the aftermath and it doesnt rank correct to me what the point of hiding all this information from the nation and of course everything has tried to be covered up. So I do sense where you are coming from with this question of yours but there is probably two ways to look at this and ours is only one of them some do believe that there is no conspiracy and there is nothing that we can do about that, all we are to the government that runs us is a number another political vote to keep them in a higher power who gives a **** about us. Loved the question!

You sound like me about a year ago. When 9/11 happened, I was shocked. But like most everyone, I believed everything the media said. When a co-worker tried to tell me it was planned by our government, I wanted to knock him out for saying something that crazy. I've heard all kinds of theories too since then and they just kind of fizzled away from me lacking any interest in DISproving them. Last year is when I started to notice more and more people say the same thing, that it was an inside job. Halliburton kept coming up and sticking in my mind. I remember so many people complaining about the Neo Conservatives in Congress and how they're destroying our country. It wasn't until the Walter Reed Medical Center scandal that I started to check some of these theories out for myself. I can't tell you all the crap I've found, on my own and on the internet, because it's true, the media just won't go into something so contraversial. But some are now. The thing is, even if the majority of people think or know it was planned, there's not much anyone can do because most members of Congress wouldn't risk their careers over it, because it would mean not only their jobs but anything good they tried to do for their states and the people. We need BIG TIME GOVERMENT REFORM. My advise to you is to keep digging and take no side except that of truth. When you are sure there is more evidence and silence from those who we need answers from, then you know.

Short and simple answer is a big NO. I read the Popular Mechanic Magazine issue of March 2003 and am getting the book that the authors are writing about it as well. People will always believe in a conspiracy if they do now want to or hate those in power now. Many who are pushing the conspiracy theory hate the president and all that are with him and have stopped at almost nothing to say it is all his fault. Moveon.org is one of the leading groups that are pushing this junk and it is sad because they wish to lessen the lose of those who lost their lives in the attacks on the Twin Towers.

If you break down 9/11 conspiracy theories they're very weak. And lot of interview comments are taken out of context. For an example, lot of people said 'I heard what sounded like bomb' and people will claim bomb was really there.
It's easy to show you things that look 'suspicious' in such a big, complex event like 9/11. How many disasters have you analyzed before?
They overload you with piles of new information. But they're all junk.
I was little taken away when I saw 9/11 convention on C-Span, but quickly found out it's not much better than claims about wonder drugs that help you lose weight, make you look pretty.

There are also conspiracy theories about Oklahoma bombing and some plane crash investigations. It's quite common to see these conspiracy theories pop up following big events.

I think there's waaay too much personal interest between the Bush family and Iraq. I don't know who to blame. I really don't want to believe our government had anything to do with it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did. A war against Osama somehow became a war against Hussein and Iraq? I definitely believe that governments are capable of such evil--even ours, we just have to keep it under the rug...! Remember, everything you see on tv and in the papers is what is allowed to be seen. I think we're the most censored country on this planet. Uncle Sam doesn't want you to worry about any wars. You just be a good American--pay your taxes and support your troops. Lol

From the videos I've seen, I think they had been set up to be demolished using explosives. Maybe they did this for a security issue incase they would have fallen over causing more harm. You can even see the smoke blow out of lower windows as if small charges had been set ahead of time. Also the smaller building fell straight down also, and the owner of the building said to go ahead and "pull it" which is the same way a demo man would say to blow it up.....Oh well, we'll never know for sure.

It is a good thing the internet wasn't around when Christopher Columbus Discovered America.
There would have been a conspiracy about that.

Conspiracy theorists are like religious zealots. They never go away, and you cannot convince them of anything they don't want to be convinced about. To some people, literally everything is a conspiracy and they like the cloak and dagger atmosphere in their lives. Ignore them.

How many people buy the National Enquirer or other similar "newspapers"? That is probably a close estimate.
