at first i thought that it would be kind of cool, having the first retarded person elected president, but i will never make that mistake again!
About the micromanaging - if bush cares so much about the constitution (that "g'ddamn piece of paper") then he would have gotten a declaration of war from congress to begin with.
you are right, lisa, he once said "It would be a hell of a lot easier if this were a dictatorship!"
hey, "the institute" - you do realize that bush has only 29% approval? that means most people do not like bush, in case you don't know about percentages. you did say you are a bush fan, didn't you? well, if that is true, you probably cannot even read this right now....

no because the office of the president gives him the authority to be commander in chief and not congress which is the law of the land. Congress voted to start the war in Iraq so that is also legal, the facts are the facts. Every administration has fired people so you cannot single out just President Bush, again another fact. There were different scenarios proposed for post war in iraq so it cannot be said that all the generals agreed on one course. There have been mistakes made in this war as with any other war but the long and short of it is that there is no way that we can lose in Iraq except if congress cuts off funding for it.

Competition, my friend. The very idea scares him witless.
Although that may not be all that hard to do.
He is just afraid that someone else will manage it better....not very good when you're the Decider, is it?
I get tired of most of the crap falling out of that disgraceful man's mouth.
Edit:
If he is Commander in Chief, why won't he act like it? The things that are going wrong with this war are always someone elses' fault. He has taken responsibility for ONE issue - all the rest have been sloughed off. Besides, someone who spent the Vietnam era ducking service when guys like my dad ended up doing 2 tours and getting shot down twice, how would he know anything about the military at all? Other than what he is told, and he only listens to what he wants to hear. Great leaders, great Commanders in Chief, hear a myriad of opinions before putting their nation's youth in front of the guns. Oh wait - but Rummy told him it would only be 6 months!
His generals initially warned him this would happen - and where are they? "Retired"
Some Commander in Chief. And the only way that we can win the war - we cannot win. I didn't support it then, and I don't now. We were NEVER going to win.
I find it appalling that he has said in no uncertain terms that his successor will have to finish this - it can't be finished on his watch. Can't even finish this mess that he started. Disgusting.
And since I pay taxes,I have every right to disagree with how the government is being run into the ground. I also vote in every election, so I have the right to ***** about it. People like this (see below) are the reason someone like Bush was elected twice. I am sure that your grandchildren will thank you.

No, I get tired of hearing people like you not understand that President Bush is COMMANDER IN CHIEF of the military, not Congress, not any General, not any Admiral. Congress authorizes war, from that point on, the President is in charge to execute until war condition is gone. In the military, you follow orders of your officers appointed over you, whether you agree or not. Bush can only fire those that are below him in chain of command. Bush is the head officer. It's his military and his decision ALONE. Period.
But don't worry, 2008 comes around and you can vote for someone else.

Yes, and Clinton fired everyone he could within a month of taking office. He had no trouble doing an air campaign on Bosnia because he was bombing white Christian people who were defending themselves against Muslims darnit. But we have to be nice to throat cutters wearing more curtains than the Klan. The Democrat Strategy is run, oh hoo, run away and "understand" evil incarnate. If these clowns had been in power during WWII you bet your diapers that you would be speaking Geman right now. Darnit, we are the world's only super power, but liberalism is a cancer. A cancer that has spread throughout America. Sadly, many on Yahoo Answers are infected- or maybe a few have several profiles and are unemployed. The latter is probably true.

He has to grasp a true understanding of how the Constitutional powers work. Congress has every right to put pre-conditions on funding bills, especially related to foreign conflicts. The one fact is that Bush is ignoring the overall will of the American people. We want our troops home and out of that Hell-hole. It's up to the Iraqis to stop the bombing and to end sectarian violence, and to re-build their military, police, and their infrastructure. They don't want us there. Bush needs to face certain realities, as if he ever did.

If Bush had his way, he wouldn't have a Congress. It would be his way or no way...and no one else would be able to disagree. As it is...people try to talk some sense into him, and he ignores all of the advice. In his little pea brain, he thinks it makes him look decisive.
