My bike sounds like its backfiring sometimes (a couple times every 5 minutes or so) and also I see exhaust sparks. Is this OK? What should I do?

Backfires and flames out the exhaust mean you are running too rich. If you jetted the carbs, then either go back to stock jets, or modify everything with airflow (filters, intakes, exhaust). You can't pump in more gas without pumping in more air.

Running a rich mix will eventually lead to fouled plugs.

merely persist with the instructions. it incredibly is trouble-free. The battery acid is provided in this pouch that gets punctured by utilising the battery once you mate the pouch with the battery. The acide flows into the cells cleanly and suitable, often devoid of incident. Now there is the prospect you would be hit by utilising a soccer at a similar time as doing this, so positioned on eye risk-free practices and rubber gloves. carry out the technique able the place battery acid would desire to spill and not harm something, like a drip pan on your driveway. do not positioned on any outfits which you care approximately. Even a small volume of battery acid will discolor your outfits.

Exhaust valves.
Or running way too rich.

When this happened to me, I had a burnt exhaust valve.
If you have unburnt fuel in the exhaust gas, it can be ignited by the "wasted spark" on the exhaust stroke.
