i ahev windows xp and peopel always mess with my comp when im gone so i wan to make it so fater the screensaver comes on, to get back into my windows account, you have to reenter the password

Right click on the desktop and go to properties. Click the screen saver tab, then click the box next to "On resume, password protect".

That's that.

Right click on your desktop and go into the properties. Once there you should see something about screen saver. Everything you need to do this should be in there. Sorry I'm not much help, I just got Windows Vista and it is completely different and I can't remember the exact of where everything was on XP.

Typically, you can only require a password after your computer is in stand-by mode. When it "returns" from stand-by, it'll require a password. I'm not sure, but I believe that's the only way.

click start, control panel, display. screeensaver tab, then tick pasword on resume, enter your password, clik ok, ur on! make sure u don;t forget your password!!!!

On the screen saver options click the box called... "on resume display the welcome screen" and there ya go.
