My mother says that when I was miles apart from her, she knew something was wrong. She said it was 2:00 in the morning and she smelled this foul odor. She searched to see where the smell was coming from, but she couldn't find it. Around that time, I was stuck in a situation that was greatly uncomfortable and terrifying.

Just now I was feeling depressed and unmotivated and I put this song on. A song from "La Vita Bella." All of the sudden, now I'm smelling this flowery smell. I haven't taken a shower or have any perfume on. I don't have a lotion that has this wonderful, uplifting smell. It comes and goes. I wish this smell would stay with me forever. What is going on?

I smell it again!!!

When I was 12 years old and had never even heard of ESP and other unusual things I was on a long trip with some friends and several hundred miles from home. One night I had this horrible dream that my father had been shocked really bad by a big electric motor. I woke up shaking and feeling scared and horrible. After I returned home I found out that he had had a "shock" at that time....but it was a diabetic insulin shock.

I imagine if people can hear and see things that are not there, people can smell something that is not there as well.

Taste and smell are easily linked like putting a piece of apple or a piece of onion on your tongue with your nose pinched and not being able to tell the difference. With LSD it's proven that all the senses are linked. That's why people on LSD can smell colors and see sounds. Maybe your brain has linked another sense or even a sense with a memory like knowing what "lemon sent" smells like without smelling the product but with greater detail.

it does happen... it is just that some people are in tune with their bodies and everything around them...
I smelled the flowery thingy when I felt a good spirit asking for some prayer... I gave a short prayer and there she goes... she is gone in a few minutes... All the other people there were like scared... I am not... I think good spirits or souls give that kind of smell to tell us that they are there... Or maybe it is just your mom's perfume!!! LOL
