Virginia Tech gets 0 points.
Those fools just can't seem to understand that when guns are outlawed, only psychopathic loner criminals and the government will have guns.

The shooter became a pupil at Virginia Tech. He did no longer go searching for a school with restrictive gun rules, he merely went to his own college. i do no longer see the way you may desire to think of of that as something different than a accident. till you think of that weapons actively ward off psychological ailment. by the way, this thought that if persons are carrying weapons they're going to kill all of us who starts shooting is comprehensive nonsense. the final public of human beings, despite if or no longer they had weapons or no longer, would run or cover in that subject. A knowledgeable soldier would kill the gunman, yet no longer your prevalent pupil. Plus, in case you do get some wannabe vigilantes with itchy set off palms, how properly do you think of they're going to have the skill to distinguish between the guy who pulls out a gun and shoots an harmless guy or woman, and the guy who pulls out a gun and shoots a gunman? it may be chaos.

I don't see how having a "No Gun Zone" will help unless police officers are monitering EVERYONE in the area, and searching everyone to make sure no one is carrying a concealed weapon. And honestly I don't think taxpayers would want to pay for that.
Liberalism has nothing to do with it.
Anyone at any time can poccess a gun, aim it at someone and shoot to kill.
I am not for giving everyone guns because I myself have had a friend die because her brother got angry with her one day, pulled out a gun and shot her point blank. It was really strange though, because he always seemed so quiet and tame around her.

32 .. if every straight headed conservative at VT had been carrying a gun openly ; that lunatic would not have even tried his tirade.. But , if the constitution were honored over the right to bear arms, it would be honored on many other fronts and that poor boy may have had a chance to have gotten some help before he went off.

Young people with concealed handguns is supposed to reduce murders? Why not arm the campus police and have them on foot across the campus? Why not bar people with mental illnesses from purchasing guns? Heat of the moment murders would increase by many more than 32 if every college campus allowed concealed handguns. More trained police officers on campus is the only sensible solution.

Virginia has a no-gun zone policy for campuses, and this lliberal law did no good, obviously. Restricting honest citizens never controls criminal behavior.
This is the insanity of liberalism, and it is why liberalism has now been determined to be a mental disorder by many prominent psychiatrists.
